MASTERCARD – Project Management

The Challenge
MasterCard is a multinational financial services corporation based in the US and one of the world’s leading providers of credit cards, debit cards and other financial services. The financial services company relocated to new offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and by building on their global relationship Cushman & Wakefield provided Project Management services for a large complex fit out and the provision of furniture & equipment.

The Solution
The Project Management team developed the following contracts:
  • Fit out contract with several stages of value engineering & cost validation – which realized savings of 15% versus baseline, while retaining design intent
  • Furniture contract with international shipping
  • Audio Visual contract, with realized savings of 12% versus nominated supplier rates
  • Access Control contract delivered to budget and in compressed timeframe, by engaging directly with the locally supplier
Furthermore, Cushman & Wakefield provided UPS installation and specification with 20% savings delivered on time, specialist lighting and technical lighting specified as part of unique design, sourcing local alternatives for cost and time savings retaining design intent, developed and retained a good Landlord relationship to ease approval and day working requirements, invoice & cost validation.
 
The Results
The project was completed on time and within budget.  C&W have worked closely with all contractors to close out snagging and the client is extremely happy with the results
