Cushman & Wakefield awarded KFUPM commission

Cushman & Wakefield Riyadh – May 21, 2018: Cushman & Wakefield has won a commission to provide FM consultancy services to King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) located in Dahran, Saudi Arabia.

KFUPM and its subsidiary aims to develop and construct a state of the art business park of mixed use real estate, including offices, hospitality, retail and residential assets with all associated support facilities on a land owned by KFUPM and developed by Saudi Aramco.

The business park will cover around 210,000 square metres within the KFUPM area.

The facilities management consultancy services scope of work includes: organisational setup and strategy for property and asset management, budget planning, facilities management strategy, FM design review, fit out and construction plan review and inspection.

Mike Moore, Cushman & Wakefield’s Principal Consultant noted the win’s impact on C&W’s growing list of consultancy commissions. He said: “This is yet another fantastic triumph for Cushman & Wakefield. We have been entrusted by various sectors to provide FM consultancy services, across the Middle East. And, in addition to that, we have been consistently recognized as FM/Property consultant of the year by different award-giving bodies throughout the region; such bodies as FM Middle East and Arabian Property Awards.”

Richard Naylor, Chief Executive of Cushman & Wakefield said: “I am immensely proud to be able to say that we have had a presence in Saudi Arabia for over 20 years now. And in that time, we have become known for our expertise in providing FM/Property services, thus leading the Cushman & Wakefield team to become award winners.

The Cushman & Wakefield teams are always excited to see new developments in the area. And KFUPM is no exception. The business park is bound to stimulate growth and introduce new amenities to the community and Cushman & Wakefield could not be more pleased about that.
