Cushman & Wakefield, Riyadh: January 16, 2018 – Richard Naylor, Chief Executive of Cushman & Wakefield Saudi Arabia, and Michael Moore, Operations Direction and Principal Consultant of Cushman & Wakefield Saudi Arabia were invited by the organisers of the Facilities Management Congress Middle East (FM EXPO) as speakers at this years’ conference 14-16th January 2018, at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.
With “Connect with a $29.1 BN Facilities Management Industry” as this year’s conference theme, Richard Naylor was part of the opening panel discussion along with many fellow industry experts that provided their views on “Saudi Arabia Macro Market Update: Through an FM lens”. The discussion points focused on Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision and PFI opportunities, increasing Saudisation targets, women in the workforce and changes to tax regimes.
“I believe the audience found our panel discussion very informative, particularly in providing an insight into the macroeconomic changes taking place in the Facilities Management industry in Saudi Arabia,” commented Richard Naylor.
The opening panel was followed by a presentation from another Cushman & Wakefield executive, Mike Moore. Presenting on the topic of ‘PPP Policy Implications”, Mike discussed the PPP opportunities versus staffing challenges: analysing the impact of privatisation and regulatory changes to the industry and implications for recruitment and employment. Topics covered included the 2030 Vision and its reliance on an extensive and successful PPP programme.
“I’m very happy that my presentation was well received and pleased the topic stirred the interest of the attendees and hopefully influenced future strategic plans for service providers within the Facilities Management industry”, commented Mike Moore.
