Cushman & Wakefield Riyadh – May 22, 2018: Cushman & Wakefield are delighted to have been awarded a commission to provide FM consultancy services to King Abdul Aziz Road Project (KAAR), located in Mecca.
The KAAR project is a complex mixed used development, including – but not limited to – hotels, residential, commercial, retail, car parking and public spaces. It will also boast a newly-developed infrastructure and transport system. The project covers an area of approximately 1.2 million square metres.
The facilities management consultancy services scope of works includes: conceptualisation and planning, FM review and input into the design, development of the masterplan and FM cost modelling. Mike Moore, Cushman & Wakefield’s Principal Consultant for the project said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded this prestigious commission. The KAAR development will have an extremely positive impact on the area in which it is based, and it will serve its local and surrounding communities well, which is something that is close to our own hearts. Cushman & Wakefield places the utmost importance on any communities we serve. For us, it is all about people: the clients we serve, and our own dedicated teams and individuals.”
Mike Moore added: “The award is a welcome addition to our notable, ever-increasing list of consultancy commissions. C&W are proud to be able to say that clients of various sizes and types comprise this list and we are only too pleased to continue to provide prized FM consultancy services across the Middle East. In fact, we have been consistently recognised as FM/Property Consultant of the year by various award-giving bodies in the Middle East, including FM Middle East and Arabian Property Awards.”
Richard Naylor, Chief Executive of Cushman & Wakefield, said of the win: “Cushman & Wakefield has enjoyed a presence in Saudi Arabia for more than 20 years, and counting. Our award-winning approach to providing FM services and offering the ultimate in service, is what drives us. Being awarded the KAAR commission is fantastic news. It is further evidence of our continued growth, despite the economic challenges of the region.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s sheer drive and determination sees it unfalteringly developing; maintaining its exceptionally high standards of facilities management for long-standing clients and repeatedly winning new commissions means that it simply keeps going from strength to strength. This can only be good news for the remarkable Cushman & Wakefield teams, for the regions it serves and, of course, for its valued clients.
