SAP the multinational software provider with regional offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, had plans to relocate their Riyadh office from Centria Mall to a new purpose built 1642 sqf office in the Information Technology and Communications Complex (ITCC).
Due to delays in receiving final approval to commence the relocation process , Cushman & Wakefield were challenged to relocate the client at very short notice over a weekend.
As a global property services company Cushman & Wakefield has the experience in supporting multinational clients in every aspect of project management from fit out, relocation and integrated facilities management (IFM) and are thus able to ensure a smooth transition from one office location to another.
On notification from SAP we quickly assembled a team headed by one of our facilities managers , assisted by a relocation coordinator, to deliver the following support services;
- undertake a full deep clean
- relocation of furniture/equipment
- provision of manned security services for the new office
- procure temporary storage facilities and
- deliver procurement services
During this activity, we also facilitated the provision of access permits and supported SAP in the production of employee welcome packs.
The relocation process was project managed and coordinated by Cushman & Wakefield’s facilities manager working in close liaison with SAP’s onsite and regional teams.
Cushman & Wakefield managed to complete the relocation over the weekend which resulted in minimum interruption to SAP Saudi Arabia operations and ensured the clients personnel were ready to commence work in the new offices the following week.
SAP were very happy with the strong support provided by Cushman & Wakefield which had resulted in a smooth transition with minimum business interruption and subsequently awarded the IFM contract for the new office to Cushman & Wakefield.
