Cushman & Wakefield, Jeddah: November 14, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announce today that Michael Moore, Operations Director and Principal Consultant in Saudi Arabia has successfully passed the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) qualification and is now a certified health and safety practitioner.

NEBOSH is an awarding body offering a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, qualifications designed to meet the health, safety and environmental management needs of all places of work. Its qualifications are recognised by relevant professional membership bodies including the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and IEMA.

With the objective of being better equipped to deliver his role in the company, Mike participated in the course and went through the intensive online programme over a two-year period. This included the two-day written and practical examination, plus the production of a report as part of the final assessment.

Personally, I’ve learnt a great deal, but more importantly I believe Cushman & Wakefield has benefited greatly from my increased awareness and appreciation of health and safety.  From my increased knowledge on the subject I have been able to recognise and identify areas for improvement in our approach towards H&S and I have been able to make enhancements to our training materials, delivering H&S related training, and improving our processes.” Mike said.
