Cushman & Wakefield, Riyadh – September 30, 2012: Cushman & Wakefield today announced it has been awarded a 5-year facilities management contract for Kingdom Hospital Consulting Clinics.
Kingdom Hospital, located in Al Rabie Quarter in the northern part of Riyadh, is one of Saudi Arabia’s latest and most extensively equipped private hospitals, sponsored by HRH Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal Al Saud. Kingdom Hospital provides all types of consultations and therapeutic services, utilising state-of-the-art equipment. The hospital offers many specialised medical departments, including pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology and a pain management centre and rehabilitation unit, which will be the first private rehabilitation centre in Riyadh. The emergency room and intensive care units are the first in Saudi Arabia to conform to the standards of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Furthermore, Kingdom Hospital has recently announced expansion plans with a total value of SAR550m (US$146.6m).
Cushman & Wakefield will be providing a whole range of facilities management services to Kingdom Hospital to include asset management, condition audit services and computer software maintenance management as well as the management of existing service providers and staff. Cushman & Wakefield is also being brought on board to assist Kingdom Hospital in acquiring the Joint Commission accreditation from a facilities management perspective.
